PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tree cultivation method capable of culturing trees, in which the tree hardly causes root rot and has an excellent rooting-degree after transplantation.SOLUTION: The tree cultivation method of the invention is a method in which a tree grows with a cultivation container comprising a main rooting room and a sub rooting room. The method comprises the steps of: planting a tree on the main rooting room of the first cultivation container allowing roots of the tree to extend to enter the sub rooting room cutting the roots of the tree entering the sub rooting room removing the tree whose roots have been cut, from the main rooting room and transplanting it onto a the main rooting room of a second cultivation container larger than the first cultivation container then the steps of growing on the main rooting room, root cutting, and transplantation from the first cultivation container to the second cultivation container are repeated until the tree grows to a predetermined size. It is also allowed to carry out the transplantation onto the main rooting room of the second cultivation after repeating plural times of the cultivation step on the main rooting room of the first cultivation container and the root cutting step in the sub rooting room of the first cultivation container.COPYRIGHT: (C)2014,JPO&INPIT【課題】 根腐れしにくく、移植後の活着度が高い樹木を栽培可能な樹木栽培方法を提供する。【解決手段】 本発明の樹木栽培方法は、主根張室と副根張室を備えた栽培容器を用いて樹木を栽培する方法であって、第一の栽培容器の主根張室に樹木を植え、樹木の根が副根張室に進入するまで展伸させ、副根張室に進入した樹木の根を切断し、断根した樹木を主根張室から取り出して第一の栽培容器よりも大きな第二の栽培容器の主根張室に植え替え、その後、主根張室での栽培、根の切断、及び第一の栽培容器よりも大きな第二の栽培容器への植え替えを繰り返し、樹木を所期の大きさまで栽培する方法である。第一の栽培容器内の主根張室での栽培及び第一の栽培容器の副根張室での断根を複数回繰り返してから第二の栽培容器の主根張室に植え替えてもよい。【選択図】図2
