Disclosed are modified oligonucleotides that can reduce or inhibit one or more activities of miR-138. The modified oligonucleotide may comprise at least one locked nucleic acid (LNA), and the oligonucleotide is substantially complementary to the nucleotide sequence of miR-138. In addition, pharmaceutical compositions comprising the oligonucleotides, methods of using the oligonucleotides, and uses thereof are disclosed.
