PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vegetable-washing machine which can reduce the clogging of a water-receiving tank filter as much as possible.SOLUTION: This vegetable-washing machine includes a washing tank in which a washing basket receiving cut vegetables is disposed and in which a washing or rinsing liquid is poured and stored to wash and/or rinse vegetables, an escape port 27 disposed close to the upper end of the washing tank to drain the liquid overflowing from the washing tank, and a water-receiving tank 40 provided on the downstream side of the escape port and having a basket-like filter 54 for receiving and filtering the liquid overflowing from the washing tank.
