The present invention relates to an apparatus for transmitting power to a compressor of a bean harvester, comprising: an engine (20) having a transmission (21) mounted on a vehicle body (10) and having a drive pulley (22) and a drive belt (23) a compressor (30) installed above the transmission (21) and having a driven pulley (32) and a driven belt (33) and control means (40) for varying the tension of the drive belt (23) and the driven belt (33) in response to a load state and a vibration state of the engine (20).
