PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for grasping health condition of a plant from its oscillation information by oscillating the plant intermittently or continuously.SOLUTION: The method for evaluating health condition of a plant comprises an oscillation step for oscillating the plant by using an oscillation source, a measurement step for measuring a position of the plant and obtaining positional information of the oscillated plant, and an evaluation step for determining an oscillatory waveform of the plant from the positional information, obtaining analysis information from the oscillatory waveform, grasping the transition in the analysis information, and from which change, grasping change of the health condition of the plant.
