The present invention relates to a killed lactobacillus having an immunity regulating function and a method for producing the same. In particular, effects have been exhibited by regulating the activity of a biomarker related to immunity regulation by means of killed bacteria of Lactobacillus brevis NS1401 (donated by Korean Federation of Culture Collections affiliated with Korean Culture Center of Microorganisms, donation number: KCCM11594P, donation date: 30.10.2014) separated from kimchi. Specifically, Lactobacillus brevis NS1401 developed according to the present invention has an excellent immunity regulating effect thereof compared to other strains separated from kimchi, and has high acid resistance and bile acid resistance, so the Lactobacillus brevis NS1401 may also be excellently used as probiotics. The present invention relates to the strain properties of Lactobacillus brevis NS1401 separated from kimchi, an excellent immunity regulating effect thereof when being killed, and a method for producing the same so as to improve effects thereof. Moreover, killed bacteria developed according to the present invention may be variously used in producing a chemical composition, a drinkable intestinal agent, a probiotic composition, a feed additive, and other fermentation products.
