PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a food product for a person with difficulty in chewing/swallowing or a food product for a person with lowered digestion function, giving visual satisfaction to a person who eats, and having proper hardness corresponding to the chewing/swallowing function of a person who eats.SOLUTION: A food product for a person with difficulty in chewing/swallowing or a food product for a person with lowered digestion function is obtained through: 1) a step of introducing degrading enzyme to a material followed by softening 2) a step of producing a food product containing a material softened in the 1) step and 3) a step of heating and physical adjusting the food product obtained in the 2) step.
