PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lyophilized composition containing glycopeptides as the active ingredient significantly suppressing its foaming in dissolving it again even if adding neither a solubilizing agent nor dissolving auxiliary or the like thereto, and to provide a method for producing the composition.
SOLUTION: The method for producing the lyophilized composition includes preparing a frozen product by freezing a glycopeptide-containing solution, thawing under heating to such a state that a part of the frozen product is left unthawed, and then freezing again, followed by drying under reduced pressures.
