PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a construction method for inhibiting weeds from germination, excellent in the effect of inhibiting the weeds from germination and also capable of being installed very economically by combining and laminating a wood chip layer with a water permeable paper layer such as cardboard, nonwoven fabric, etc., and further performing rolling compaction of the same.SOLUTION: This construction method for inhibiting the weeds from germination is characterized by forming the wood chip layer by installing the wood chips on leveled ground by approximately &ge5 cm, forming the paper layer by installing water permeable cardboard or nonwoven fabric on the same wood chip layer, forming the wood chip layer by installing the wood chips by approximately &ge5 cm on the same paper layer, forming a binder layer on the wood chip layer by spraying or applying an adhesive, and performing the rolling-compaction of these sandwiched part to make approximately one half thickness.COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT【課題】木材チップ層と厚紙や不織布等の通水性のある紙層とを組み合わせて積層し、さらにこれらを転圧することによって雑草の発芽防止効果に優れていて、しかも非常に経済的に敷設することができる雑草の発芽防止工法を提供するものである。【解決手段】整地面の上に木材チップを約5cm以上敷設して木材チップ層を形成し、当該木材チップ層の上に通水性のある厚紙や不織布を敷設して紙層を形成し、当該紙層の上に木材チップを約5cm以上敷設して木材チップ層を形成し、当該木材チップ層の上に接着剤を吹付け、あるいは塗布してバインダ層を形成し、これらのサンドイッチ部分を転圧してほぼ半分の厚さとしたことを特徴とする雑草の発芽防止工法。【選択図】 図5
