PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a brain wave detecting electrode in which the electrode can be arranged without defiling user's hair by conductive paste, etc., in brain wave measurement, mixture of noise is reduced, and furthermore, impedance of the electrode at a contact surface can be lowered optionally, and thereby it is wearable without a sense of incongruity in everyday life.SOLUTION: A brain wave detecting electrode comprises: multiple flexible bars 2 with fibers 1 being wound around at tips； a tube 4 where the bars 2 and the conducting wire 3 extended substantially from the tips of the bars 2 are inserted inside； a bed plate 5 where the tube 4 and the conducting wire 3 are fixed, and the bars 2 are penetrated； a body case 6 fixed to the bed plate 5 and formed of spiral irregularities； and a gap 7 formed with the irregularities so as to be engaged with the irregularities of the body case 6.
