A reel seat is provided for fixing the reel leg of the reel to attach the reel to the trunk of the fishing rod. The reel seat includes a pipe body and a grip body. The pipe body defines a bore at the inner periphery into which the trunk is inserted in the axial direction of the trunk. The pipe body has a reel leg support portion in contact with the reel leg on its outer circumference. The grip body has a cover portion and is coupled to the pipe body in the axial direction. The cover part partially surrounds the outer periphery of the pipe body while exposing the reel leg support, and is engaged with the outer periphery of the pipe body at both edges.
