The present invention relates to the combination of tetracyclines exhibiting synergistic antimicrobial activity. The present combinations comprise at least two individual tetracycline antibiotic that at any concentration above 1/64 of their original minimum inhibition concentrations (MICs). The antibiotic combinations can effectively decrease the dosages of individual tetracyclines antibiotics, and thereby reduce the antibiotic residues in human or products of food-producing animal origin and decrease the possible toxicities.本發明係關於包含至少兩種四環素類抗菌劑或其鹽類,具有優異的協同抗菌藥效之四環素類抗菌劑組合物,其中該等四環素類抗菌劑其鹽類係以較單一藥品使用之抗生素劑量減少1/64倍以上的方式合併,使用於治療或預防對四環素類抗菌劑具感受性細菌所引起之疾病。本發明之四環素類抗生素組合可有效降低單一藥物的使用量,藉以減少於動物體或人體中使用所可能產生的毒性、副作用及殘留。
