The present invention relates to a combination of at least two amphenicol antibiotics (including any salt or dosage form thereof) with significance of synergistic activity. The application of patterns include the dosages, the major ingredients (include different types of amphenicol salts and dosage forms), and the combinations of amphenicol. The present combinations include at least two individual amphenicol antibiotic that at any concentrations above 1/128 of their original minimum inhibition concentrations (MICs). These newly invented combinations can be used for therapeutic or prophylactic purposes on veterinary and human medicine. These combinations not only perfectly inhibit amphenicol-sensitive bacteria, but also perfectly inhibit amphenicol-resistant bacteria. The active integrations of the present combinations can effectively decrease the dosages of individual amphenicol antibiotic, and thereby reduce the antibiotic residues in products of food-producing animal origin, decrease the possible toxicities of the production environments and non-target animals.本發明係關於具有優異協同抗菌藥效之氯黴素類抗菌劑組合,及任何本類抗菌劑,以本專利所申請劑量範圍內,相同主要成分(即包含氯黴素類各種不同鹽類製劑與劑型)但不同濃度比例的組合物與使用。發明包含於使用成份中至少包含兩種(含)現有氯黴素類抗菌劑的組合物,以高於1/128原始各單一藥品使用量的方式合併,使用於治療或預防對氯黴素類抗菌劑具感受性或已具抗藥性細菌所引起之疾病。本發明之氯黴素類抗菌劑的組合物,除可明顯加強藥效、有效減少單一氯黴素類抗菌劑之使用量與降低抗藥性細菌的產生外,更由於可直接降低藥物使用量,進而減少氯黴素類抗菌劑在可食性動物產品中的殘留量,以及對於飼養環境或其他非標的動物的可能毒害。
