The present invention is in the cosmetic field. La présente invention se situe dans le domaine cosmétique. L'invention concerne l'utilisation cosmétique d'un extrait peptidique de soja (Glycine Max. L.), issu de l'hydrolyse du soja, en tant qu'agent pour renforcer la structure du cheveu. L'invention est également relative à l'utilisation cosmétique d'un extrait peptidique de soja (Glycine Max. L.) pour la réalisation d'une composition destinée pour renforcer la résistance mécanique des cheveux et améliorer l'aspect des cheveux. La présente invention concerne un extrait peptidique du soja (Glycine Max. L.) pour augmenter l'expression des transglutaminases. L'invention porte encore sur un procédé de traitement cosmétique destiné à renforcer la résistance des cheveux et à lutter contre les agressions extérieures touchant le cheveu, selon lequel on applique topiquement une composition contenant l'agent actif sur les zones à traiter.
