PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide plant growing shelves and plant growing apparatus which allow the wind to efficiently blow against the plants on a plant growing shelf and can smoothly flow a liquid for irrigation water in the recess of a tray, and to provide plant growing methods using such plant growing apparatus.SOLUTION: A plant growing shelf 10 of a multistage type which is installed in a plant growing space closed and insulated inside of a hollow structured body having light blocking effect and on which a plant P is placed has a tray 13 on which a plant P is placed and which has a recess on its upper surface which can store a liquid L for irrigation water, such as water and nutrient solution, and a plurality of supports 11 which support the plurality of trays 13 in a multistage manner, both side portions 10A in the width direction and both side portions in the depth direction orthogonal to the width direction at least being opened and being formed in both the width direction and the depth direction so that ventilation can be carried out, and the bottom surface of the recess being an inclined surface which is inclined with respect to the horizontal plane to flow the liquid L for irrigation water toward a drain port 13 b.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1【課題】植物育成棚の植物に対して風を効率よくかつムラなく当てるとともに、トレイの凹部においてかん水用液体が滞りなく流すことが可能な植物育成棚及び植物育成装置、並びにこのような植物育成装置を用いた植物育成方法を提供する。【解決手段】遮光性を備える中空構造体の内部の閉鎖断熱された植物育成空間に設置され、植物Ｐが載置される多段式の植物育成棚１０であって、植物Ｐが配置され水や養液などのかん水用液体Ｌが貯留可能な凹部を上面に備えるトレイ１３と、複数のトレイ１３を多段状に支持する複数の支柱１１と、を有し、少なくとも、幅方向の両側部１０Ａ及び幅方向に直交する奥行き方向の両側部はいずれも開放されて、幅方向及び奥行き方向のいずれの方向にも通気可能に形成され、凹部の底面は、水平面に対して傾斜しかん水用液体Ｌを排液口１３ｂに向けて流動させる傾斜面である。【選択図】図１
