The invention discloses an intelligent scooter for the old, which is provided with a motor, a controller and a detector electrically connected with the controller, the detector comprises a first detector and a second detector for collecting the driver's front and rear pedestrian and obstruction respectively, the scooter is further provided with a first image pickup device electrically connected to the controller for collecting the front road condition of the driver and transmitting acquired signal to the controller, and the controller is equipped with a road speed module, the controller sets the corresponding road speed through the road speed module according to the collected road surface condition and instructs the running speed of the motor to be controlled. The intelligent scooter provided in the invention can make up the shortcomings of driving slowly of the old and the disabled, avoiding security risks to the pedestrian or their own through automatically.本發明揭露一種老年智能代步車，其上設有馬達、控制器和與控制器電性連接的探測器，探測器包括第一探測器和第二探測器，分別用於採集駕駛者前方和後方的行人及障礙物，代步車上還設有與控制器電性連接的第一攝像裝置，用於採集駕駛者前方路面情況，並將採集訊號傳輸至所述控制器，控制器中內嵌有路面時速模組，控制器根據所採集到的行駛路面情況，通過路面時速模組選取所對應的路面時速，並指令控制所述馬達的行駛速度。本發明所提供的智能代步車，彌補了老年及殘疾人士的駕駛遲緩的缺陷，避免了對行人或自身造成安全隱患。
