PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an X-ray CT apparatus capable of changing a condition for radiography by simple operation if clipping occurs in a predetermined allowable range of tube current quantity.SOLUTION: A system control device 401 computes a tube current modulation curve 153 to be fed to an X-ray tube based on a condition for radiography set by an operator and a target image quality, and computes and displays an image quality index changing curve 173 from the computed tube current modulation curve 153. The system control device 401 analyzes the image quality index changing curve 173, and determines whether there is clipping of the tube current or a part deviating from the allowable range of the target image quality. If there is clipping of the tube current or a part deviating from the allowable range of the target image quality, the system control device 401 computes and displays a candidate for correction of the condition for radiography for achieving the target image quality.COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT【課題】 予め定められた管電流量の許容範囲によるクリッピングが生じた際に、簡易な操作で撮影条件を変更可能なＸ線ＣＴ装置を提供する。【解決手段】 システム制御装置４０１は、操作者により設定される撮影条件及び目標画質に基づいて、Ｘ線管に供給する管電流変調曲線１５３を算出し、算出した管電流変調曲線１５３から画質指標変化曲線１７３を算出して表示する。また、システム制御装置４０１は、画質指標変化曲線１７３を解析し、管電流のクリッピングや、目標画質の許容範囲を逸脱した部位があるか否かを判定する。管電流のクリッピングや目標画質の許容範囲を逸脱した部位がある場合には、システム制御装置４０１は、目標画質を達成するための撮影条件の修正候補を算出して、提示する。【選択図】図３
