PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operation method of a pressure furnace especially for dental material and a pressure furnace which enable the use of a clathrate material with an extreme precision shape with no need for lowering the pressing pressure to meet safety requirements nor a higher risk of making a clathrate material muffle burst.SOLUTION: In the operation method of the pressure furnace especially for dental material, the clathrate material is so arranged as to enable the press fitting mainly of a ceramic dental material with a press piston (26) and the approach speed of the press piston (26) is detected.
