The method for manufacturing the capsule includes: a step of mixing gelatin and the functional substance； a step of adding a carbodiimide crosslinking agent, and crosslinking the gelatin using the carbodiimide crosslinking agent； a step of solidifying the crosslinked gelatin； and a step of pulverizing the solidified gelatin.
