An object of the present invention is to provide a pluripotent cell having high safety in application to regenerative medicine, and a method for producing the same. The object of the present invention is also to provide a pluripotent cell with less concern about safety, particularly the problem of canceration of the cell and the presence of bacteria in the cell, and a method for producing the same. The present invention provides a method for producing pluripotent cells from somatic cells.
