PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fiber that has sufficient deodorant power and is highly safe, specifically a metal ion-containing cellulose fiber.SOLUTION: A metal ion-containing cellulose fiber has a carboxymethylated cellulose fiber with at least one metal ion selected from the group of Ag, Au, Pt, Pd, Ni, Mn, Fe, Ti, Al, Zn and Cu.
