Provided is an imidacloprid preparation process, comprising the following preparation steps: heating: firstly adding water into a reaction kettle, starting agitation at a low speed, and controlling the temperature to be 70ºC-80ºC dosing: sequentially adding an alkyl glycoside, a polyisocyanate curing agent, a sodium carboxymethyl cellulose disintegrating agent and a specially modified polyether, and stirring same for half an hour adding active ingredients: adding a paraquat mother liquor and glyphosate, followed by sequentially adding safety-assistant components such as an emetic, a warning color, an odorant and a bitterant, then adding water, and continuously maintaining the temperature and stirring for an hour at a low speed to obtain the finished product and sub-packaging: packaging the finished product by loading 200 kg of same into every wide-mouthed galvanized iron bucket or loading 50 kg of same into each plastic paper tube.
