PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the development of novel biocompatible compositions for use as sealants in surgical operations and the like, as well as for other applications.SOLUTION: Biocompatible phase invertible proteinaceous compositions and methods for making and using the same are provided. Phase invertible compositions in accordance with the invention are prepared by combining a liquid proteinaceous substrate and a liquid cross-linking composition, where the liquid cross-linking composition includes a macromolecular cross-linking agent. Kits for use in preparing the subject compositions are also provided. The subject compositions, kits and systems find use in a variety of different applications.【課題】外科手術等にシーラントとして用いるためと、加えて他の適用で用いるための新規な生体適合性のある組成物の開発を提供する。【解決手段】生体適合性のある転相可能なタンパク質の組成物ならびに同を作製および使用する方法が提供される。本発明による転相可能な組成物は液体のタンパク質基材と液体の架橋組成物とを組み合わせることによって調製され、この液体の架橋組成物は高分子の架橋剤を含む。さらに主題の組成物を調製する際に用いるキットが提供される。主題の組成物、キットおよびシステムは種々の異なる適用において用いられる。【選択図】図１
