PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus 1 which can be easily manufactured and can be arranged in a narrow space.SOLUTION: An imaging apparatus 1 includes: an imaging chip 10 having a first joint terminal 13 connected to an imaging device 11 on a second main surface 10SB a wiring board 30 comprising a chip junction part 32 having a second joint terminal 31 joined with the first joint terminal 13, a bent part 33 and an extension part 34 having a cable connection terminal 35 connected to the second joint terminal 31 on its end part and a sealing layer 20 composed of sealing resin to seal the terminal junction part between the first joint terminal 13 and the second joint terminal 31. By separating the bent part 33 fixed on the imaging chip 10 through the sealing layer 20 from the sealing layer 20, the wiring board 30 is arranged in a projection surface 10S of the imaging chip 10.
