PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate heightwise positioning a Bucky table on which a subject is placed.SOLUTION: A horizontal line of light emitting devices 70 indicates a standard height of the upper surface of the Bucky table 30. When the upper surface of the Bucky table 30 fits the standard height, the standard height is determined in almost all of anatomical cases in such a way that the horizontal width of the measuring region (lumbar spine 42) of the subject 40 fits into the width of a fanbeam 22. An operator checks if the height of the upper surface of the Bucky table 30 fits to the standard height and if the Bucky table 30 inclines relatively to an apparatus 10 (if the upper surface of the Bucky table 30 is horizontal) when viewing a positional relationship between the line of light emitting devices 70 and the upper surface of the Bucky table 30 from the front side of the apparatus 10.
