The wearable apparatus includes: a sensor for detecting a motion of the wearable apparatus and a processor for extracting a motion pattern on the basis of the motion detected by the sensor, comparing a preselected motion pattern with the extracted motion pattern, and counting the number of times of motion corresponding to the preselected motion pattern.
