PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide production methods of a treatment agent of cataract, the methods being able to pull out (or dissolve) a mineral component without using inorganic acid in a short time.SOLUTION: A production method of a treatment agent of cataract comprises pulverizing a rock, mixing a pulverized rock and an aqueous solution comprising an organic acid to obtain a mixed aqueous solution, further mixing a plant extract extracted from a plant in the mixed aqueous solution to obtain a mixed solution, and reducing the volume of the mixed solution from 1/130 to 1/170 in (a) vacuum drying treatment of the mixed solution. The production method of a treatment agent of a cataract comprises adding a seaweed to the mixed solution. The rock is igneous rock and preferably granite.
