PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasound diagnostic apparatus and a program which can prevent malfunctions due to unintended contact with the touch panel.SOLUTION: An ultrasound diagnostic apparatus (1) generates an ultrasound image (UD) based on reception signals caused by an ultrasound probe (20) receiving ultrasound waves reflected inside a subject to which ultrasound waves are transmitted from the ultrasound probe, and displays the ultrasound image on a display unit (19A). The apparatus includes: image display control means (15) which causes the display unit to display at least one operation target image indicating a target of a contact operation received by a touch panel (19b) layered on the display screen of the display unit； and processing means (15) that performs a predetermined operation process corresponding to the operation target image, which is the target of the contact operation, in response to the contact operation on the touch panel.
