PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an androgen receptor binding composition or androgen receptor antagonist composition containing isoflavone glycoside of American groundnut utilizing the physiological activities after clarifying the chemical structure and physiological activities thereof.SOLUTION: Six species of isoflavone glycoside were isolated from the harvested tuber of Apios americana (American groundnut), then purified and identified. Then these 6 compounds were examined on AR binding activity, ER binding activity and AR agonist action. As a result, they all work as an AR agonist. Based on this finding, provided are an androgen receptor-binding composition or androgen receptor antagonist composition containing the isoflavone glycoside.COPYRIGHT: (C)2014,JPO&INPIT【課題】アピオスに含まれるイソフラボン配糖体の化学構造及び生理活性作用を明らかにし、該生理活性作用を利用するアンドロゲン受容体結合組成物又はアンドロゲン受容体アンタゴニスト組成物を提供すること。【解決手段】アピオスから収穫したイモから6種類のイソフラボン配糖体を単離・精製し、同定した。次に、これら6化合物について、AR結合活性、ER結合活性及びARアゴニスト作用を検討した結果、いずれもARのアゴニストとして働くことを見出した。この知見を基にして、イソフラボン配糖体を含むアンドロゲン受容体結合組成物又はアンドロゲン受容体アンタゴニスト組成物を提供した。
