PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To aim at the greening of the desert or dried area by desalting seawater at a low cost and also making it easy to utilize deep level ground water. SOLUTION: This method for greening the desert is provided by penetrating seawater into the ground of the dried area partitioned as rice paddies while covering with a sheet for preventing the seawater from evaporation, for forming desalted ground water and making it easy to pump up the desalted deep level ground water from a deeper dug well.
