PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rooftop greening artificial ground having a water channel, and capable of more efficiently forming the water channel, and to provide a water channel forming panel to be used for the artificial ground. SOLUTION: This rooftop greening artificial ground having the water channel includes a plurality of water channel forming panels which are arranged adjacently to each other and form the water channel, a nonpermeable sheet which is arranged on a plurality of the water channel forming panels, and a vegetation layer on the nonpermeable sheet. Each of the water channel forming panels is made of a plate-like main body which has a groove forming part of the water channel on the upper side, and the thickness of the main body of the water channel forming panel on the upstream of the water channel is thicker than that of the main body of the water channel forming panel on the downstream.
