摘要:
Millions of people around the world are food insecure and do not have access to sufficient, safe, and nutritious food that meets their dietary needs for an active and healthy life. Using a demand-driven international food security assessment model, this report helps the U.S. Department of Agriculture and its stakeholders estimate food security trends in 77 low- and middle-income countries. High international food commodity prices, intensified by the Russian invasion of Ukraine and input price spikes, are associated with an increase of 118.7 million food insecure people in 2022 in the countries included in this report.strongErrata:\/strong On April 25, 2023, the International Food Security Assessment was reposted to correct a label on figure 11. No other numbers or tables were affected by this error.
