A process for making composite products from waste material comprises the steps of a) obtaining fibrous material produced by the thermal treatment of waste materials with pressurized steam； b) mixing the fibrous material with a binding material； c) forming the resulting mixture into a shape； d) pressing the shaped mixture under pressure； and e) hardening the mixture； wherein the process also comprises the steps of the separating out the fibrous material and deodorizing the fibrous material. The waste material may be domestic bin liner waste.L'invention concerne un procédé de fabrication de produits composites à partir de déchets de matériaux, comprenant les étapes consistant à : a) obtenir un matériau fibreux produit par traitement thermique de déchets à la vapeur sous pression ； b) mélanger le matériau fibreux avec un matériau liant ； c) donner une forme au mélange résultant ； d) comprimer sous pression le mélange mis en forme ； et e) durcir le mélange ； le procédé comprenant en outre les étapes de séparation du matériau fibreux et de désodorisation du matériau fibreux. Les déchets peuvent être des déchets de sacs poubelles domestiques.
