Gegenstand der Erfindung ist die Verwendung von Saatgutbehandlungs-Wirkstoffen aus den Gruppen der Anilid- und Thiazol-Fungizide als Safener, das heißt, als Mittel zum Vermeiden oder Reduzieren von phytotoxischen Wirkungen von Herbiziden, an Nutzpflanzen, vorzugsweise Kulturpflanzen.Use of seed treatment agents comprising anilide and thiazole fungicides as safeners for avoiding or reducing the phytotoxic effects of herbicides on crops, preferably cultural crops, is claimed. Independent claims are included for: (1) crop protective agents comprising the seed treatment agents optionally in the form of the seed dressing formulation, in combination with herbicides and, optionally formulation auxiliaries (2) a method of protecting cultural or useful plants against phytotoxic effects of herbicides, which cause damage to plants, comprising applying the active agents comprising pyrazole-insecticides as safeners on the seeds of the useful plants and (3) a method for the selective control of weeds in crops of useful plants, comprising applying the seed treatment agents, optionally in the form of a seed dressing formulation before, after or simultaneously with the seed of the useful plants with herbicides, on seeds, parts of plants, soil or water.
