Gegenstand der Erfindung ist die Verwendung von Saatgutbehandlungs-Wirkstoffen aus der Gruppe der Carbamat-Fungizide als Safener, das heißt, als Mittel zum Vermeiden oder Reduzieren von phytotoxischen Wirkungen von Herbiziden, an Nutzpflanzen, vorzugsweise Kulturpflanzen.Use of seed treatment agents comprising carbamate fungicides as safeners, for preventing or reducing phytotoxic effects of herbicides on useful plants, preferably cultivated plants, is claimed. Independent claims are also included for: (1) a crop protective agent, which is the seed treatment agent optionally in the form of a seed dressing formulation in combination with herbicides and optionally formulation auxiliaries (2) protecting crops from cultivated or phytotoxic effects of herbicides, which cause damage to plants, comprising applying the active substances containing the carbamate fungicides as a safener to the seed of the crop plants, preferably a required amount and (3) selectively controlling harmful plants in crops of useful plants comprising applying an active useful plants protective amount of at least one compounds of seed treatment agent in the form of a seed dressing formulation, before, after or simultaneously with the seed of the crop with the required amount against harmful plants or at least one herbicides to the seeds, plant parts, farmland or water. ACTIVITY : Fungicide. The fungicide activity of Semevin 350 FS(RTM: Thiodicarb) (a) was tested on rice plants. The results showed that (a) (3.75 g/kg seeds) exhibited an improvement of plant response by 60.3 number of accumulated crops/m 2>compared to untreated rice plants (25.2 number of accumulated crops/m 2>).
