PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing device 10 visualizing large volume data at high speed without deteriorating resolution of the large volume data in a general purpose computer.SOLUTION: The image processing device 10 divides to the volume data for test based on each of a plurality of number of partitions generates the two-dimensional image of the volume data for the test using each of the visualization algorithm to be used selects the number of partitions requiring minimums time for generating the two-dimensional image from the volume data for the test and calculates the division size in the selected number of partitions for each of the visualization algorithm.
