The present invention relates to a composition for a self-emulsifying drug delivery system comprising dutasteride, an oil, and PEG-40 hydrogenated castor oil as a surfactant. This composition can be easily ingested by 1) reducing the amount of excipients and reducing the size of the formulation. 2) This composition is emulsified in a stable emulsion in an aqueous solution. In addition, it has a feature that it can show good drug dissolution stability after long-term storage and can show good bioavailability. The composition according to the invention can be used for the treatment or prevention of benign prostatic hypertrophy, prostate cancer or male pattern baldness.本発明は、デュタステリドと、油と、界面活性剤としてＰＥＧ－４０水素化ヒマシ油とを含む、自己乳化型薬物送達システムのための組成物に関する。この組成物は、１）賦形剤の量を少なくして製剤の大きさを減じることにより薬物を摂取し易くすることができ、２）この組成物は、水溶液中で安定したエマルジョン状態に乳化されて、長期保管後の良好な薬物溶解安定性を示すとともに良好な生物学的利用能を示すことができる、という特徴を有する。本発明に従う組成物は、良性前立腺肥大症、前立腺がん、または男性型脱毛症の治療または予防に用いることができる。
