A device for attachment to an electric fence, comprising: a substantially elongated shaft having a first and second end, a ground-engaging means at said first end, one or more non-conductive securing portions, each disposed along said shaft to accommodate an electrified stand, characterised in that the shaft extends above the uppermost securing portion capable of accommodating an electrified strand to form a handle at said second end for facilitating the manual movement, adjustment and/or relocation of the said fence whilst in use, irrespective of the position of the electrified strand along said shaft.
