The present invention relates to a method for managing biometric information. A method for managing biometric information comprises determining effectiveness of a sensor module of a device for consecutively measuring biometric information based on manufacturing dates of sensor use information received from the device for consecutively measuring biometric information or production lot information, thereby preventing use of the sensor module after the expiration date or a faulty sensor module and preventing reuse or common use of the sensor module based on user information provided in a measurement message received from the device for consecutively measuring biometric information.본 발명은 생체 정보의 관리 방법에 관한 것으로, 보다 구체적으로 연속 생체정보 측정장치로부터 수신한 센서 사용 정보의 제조일 또는 생산 로트 정보에 기초하여 연속 생체정보 측정장치의 센서 모듈의 유효성을 판단함으로써 유통기간이 경과한 센서 모듈 또는 불량 센서 모듈의 사용을 방지할 수 있으며, 연속 생체정보 측정장치로부터 수신한 측정 메시지에 구비된 사용자 정보에 기초하여 센서 모듈의 재사용이나 공동 사용을 방지할 수 있는 생체 정보의 관리 방법에 관한 것이다.
