PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for constructing an earth-retaining wall for a flower bed, by which earth-retaining blocks can easily be arranged in a state reduced in the differences of height and inclination, by arranging the tip ends of two or more adjacent earth-retaining blocks by a specific method. SOLUTION: This method for constructing an earth-retaining wall for a flower bed comprises arranging a plurality of earth-retaining blocks 10 having lateral grooves 14 at the top ends 13, respectively. Therein, a bar-like member such as a bolt or a reinforcing rod is attached to the grooves 14 of the two or more adjacent earth-retaining blocks 10, thus arranging the top ends of the two or more adjacent earth-retaining blocks 10. The method for constructing an earth-retaining wall for a flower bed also comprises using the earth-retaining blocks 10 having the lateral grooves 14 at the top ends 13, respectively, and the bar-like member such as a bolt or a reinforcing rod to be attached to the grooves 14. Therein, the plural earth-retaining blocks 10 are arranged, and the bar-like member is attached to the grooves 10 of the two or more adjacent earth-retaining blocks 10 over the grooves 10.
