PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a bathing person to safely move in bathing, going out or washing the body of the bathing person.SOLUTION: An openable bathtub 10 includes a bathtub body 11, and a door 13 for opening/closing an opening 12 provided on the upper side of a first sidewall 11a of the bathtub body. The bathtub body 11 includes a lift mechanism 16 having supports for supporting a seat 19 and a lift driving part for lifting up/down the seat 19 along the supports. A handrail 49 and an operation switch 60 for opening/closing a drain plug of a pop-up type are attached to a second sidewall 11b opposed to the first sidewall of the bathtub body 11. First and second holes 52, 53, and 54 are provided at regular intervals on the upper surface of the second sidewall 11b.
