PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve general-purpose properties of a bathing apparatus suitable for the case where a care receiver, an aged person or the like uses it.SOLUTION: A bathing apparatus 1 includes a bathtub 10, a seating part 20 which is provided in the bathtub 10 and on which a bather sits, and a lifting/lowering mechanism 30 which lifts/lowers the seating part 20. The lifting/lowering mechanism 30 includes a support 31 provided in the bathtub 10, a movable part 32 capable of moving along the support 31, and a driving part capable of driving the movable part 32.
