PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscope device capable of making a visual field angle range of a display image into a desired visual field angle range in the case that the attachment accuracy between a wide-angle observation optical system and a solid state imaging device is low and without depending upon variations of an optical characteristics of the observation optical system, and to provide an image adjustment method of the endoscope device.SOLUTION: The endoscope device includes the observation optical system, the solid state imaging device in which an optical image is formed by the observation optical system, and a storage part for storing image segmentation information for specifying an image segmentation area for segmenting an image corresponding to a display area to be displayed on a monitor from an image corresponding to a displayable pixel area of the solid state imaging device. The storage part stores image segmentation information in which angular difference in a visual field between the top and bottom edges and angular difference in a visual field between the left and right edges of the image corresponding to the display area are respectively within a permissible angle. An image segmentation part 81 segments an image corresponding to the display area to be displayed on the monitor from an image corresponding to the displayable pixel area of the solid state imaging device on the basis of the image segmentation information stored in the storage part.
