The present invention relates generally to the field of immunological-based diagnostic assays. More particularly, the present invention contemplates a method for measuring cell-mediated immunoresponsiveness. The present invention further enables determination of the immunosuppressive effects of disease conditions, therapeutic agents and environmental contami-nants.
