PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To properly convey and plant a seedling.SOLUTION: A seedling transplanter includes: a pair of seedling downward feed belts 37 holding and conveying downward a bottom part Na of a seedling N and seedling planting means planting the seedling N conveyed by the seedling downward feed belts 37. An elastic member 82 is arranged on an end part of the pair of seedling downward feed belts 37 on a leaf and stem part Nb side of the seedling N. A seedling feed belt 36 is arranged which feeds the seedling N in a lateral direction. The seedling is transferred from the seedling feed belt 36 to the pair of downward feed belts 37 to be conveyed. The seedling feed belt 36 and seedling downward feed belt 37 include projections 36a, 37a in accordance with a conveyance pitch of the seedling N respectively, the projections partitioning adjacent seedlings N on the conveyance path. An projection amount of the projection 37a on the seedling downward feed belt 37 is larger than that of the projection 36a on the seedling feed belt 36.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
