PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscope and an endoscope waterproof cap which can prevent being washed with the waterproof cap omitted from being attached.SOLUTION: The endoscope comprises: a connector to which a removable waterproof cap for ensuring watertightness can be fitted and which has an electrical contact member disposed therein； an RFID tag disposed in the connector； an RFID tag housing member for housing the RFID tag, the member having an opening in one portion and made from an electroconductive material； a sealing member for closing the opening to seal the RFID tag housing member, the member being made from an electroconductive material； and a moving mechanism which causes the sealing member to move to a position for releasing the sealing of the RFID tag housing member in conjunction with the attachment of the waterproof cap onto the connector if the connector is not fitted with the waterproof cap, and which causes the sealing member to move to a position for sealing the RFID tag housing member in conjunction with the detachment of the waterproof cap from the connector if the connector is fitted with the waterproof cap.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 10COPYRIGHT: (C)2020,JPO&INPIT【課題】防水キャップを付け忘れた状態にて洗浄が行われるのを防止できる内視鏡及び内視鏡の防水キャップを提供すること。【解決手段】内視鏡は、水密を確保するための防水キャップを着脱可能であり、電気接点部材が内部に配置されたコネクタと、コネクタに配置されたＲＦＩＤタグと、一部に開口を有し、ＲＦＩＤタグを収納する導電性材料からなるＲＦＩＤタグ収納部材と、開口を閉塞してＲＦＩＤタグ収納部材を密閉可能な導電性材料からなる密閉部材と、コネクタに防水キャップが装着されていない場合には、コネクタに対する防水キャップの取り付けに連動して、ＲＦＩＤタグ収納部材の密閉を解除する位置へ密閉部材を移動させ、コネクタに防水キャップが装着されている場合には、コネクタに対する防水キャップの取り外しに連動して、ＲＦＩＤタグ収納部材を密閉する位置へ密閉部材を移動させる移動機構と、を備える。【選択図】図１０
