PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a greening unit which uses plantation containers, is effective for minimizing dead spaces between the adjacent plantation containers and for saving resources, can easily maintain water, is suitable for the growth of plants, and scarcely pollutes environments, when scrapped. SOLUTION: This greening unit is obtained by connecting the desired number of units to each other. Each of the units comprises a pair of approximately rectangular plantation containers 11, 21 having plantation portions 12, 22 to be charged with plantation soil M, and a water pipe 30 disposed in one pair of the plantation containers 11, 21. The plantation containers 11, 21 are molded paper products having watering ports 16, 26 and superposing portions 15, 25 with hook-like cross sections in one portions of the plantation containers 11, 21, respectively. Water can be supplied to one pair of the plantation portions 12, 22 through the watering ports 16, 26 and watering holes 31, 32 formed on the side surface of the water pipe.
