The invention relates to a support device (1) comprising two lateral structures (3) positioned on each side of the culture trays (2), each lateral structure (3) supporting a transmission loop (6) via a return member (4a, 4b) and a driving wheel (5a, 5b), the two driving wheels (5a, 5b) being rotatably mounted so as to drive a synchronized movement of the two transmission loops (6). According to the invention, each transmission loop (6) comprises two strands (15,16) not subject to guides and extending between the driving wheel (5a, 5b) and the return member (4a, 4b), each tray (2) being rotatably connected to the transmission loops (6) along a single horizontal axis (14), either directly or via a spacer (20) that defines a position of that axis (14) that is offset toward the outside of the transmission loop (6) by a deviation at most equal to 4 cm.Linvention concerne un dispositif de support (1) comprenant deux structures latérales (3) disposées de chaque côté des bacs de culture (2), chaque structure latérale (3) supportant, via un organe de retour (4a, 4b) et une roue dentraînement (5a, 5b), une boucle de transmission (6), les deux roues dentraînement (5a, 5b) étant montées en rotation de façon à entraîner un déplacement synchronisé des deux boucles de transmission (6).
