Disclosed is a use of pIgR as a molecular marker in diagnosing or predicting the early recurrence and/or metastasis of tumours and an intervention target for anti-metastatic drugs. En particulier, la présente invention concerne lutilisation dun anticorps dirigé contre la protéine pIgR dans la préparation dagents de diagnostic pour le diagnostic ou la prédiction de la récurrence et/ou métastase précoces de tumeurs. De plus, la présente invention concerne également lutilisation dune substance réduisant lexpression de la protéine pIgR dans la préparation de médicaments pour la prévention ou le traitement de la récurrence et/ou métastase de tumeurs.
