PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hair-dye composition that prevents the deterioration of a hair color tone in use, has high stability in production and storage, has excellent resistance to acidic treatment, and has the improved solubility of a dissociative azo dye.SOLUTION: A hair-dye composition contains: (A) one or more azo dyes selected from compounds represented by (A-1)-(A-3) and (B) a least one selected from guanidine bicarbonate, sodium bicarbonate, potassium bicarbonate, and lithium carbonate.
